You know, I have been like "frog under the coconut shell" aka Katak dibawah tempurung for a very long time. What I'm referring is...past 27years...I had never been to Karaoke before. Well hard to believe? But this is damn TRUE!
Recently back in the month of June, Ah Boy intro me to Neways Karaoke at One Utama. Was having some doubt on it might turn out nice or ugly. I had always had this perception that Karaoke was something similiar with a PUB area. But I was so wrong....really wrong. I was really really "jakun" when I went to Karaoke.
It turns out that I really enjoyed it. I can scream out my lungs with nobody complaining on the horrible voice haha. I can release stress man...ok ok this part is reason for going to more Karaoke session.
So recently I was so addicted to "K" session...haha...of coz' we never fail to invite Mr Ah Boy to join us for each karaoke session..after all he is the expert of using those controller in K room.
Last weekend 3 of us went to RedBox at The Curve for our singing lessons! haha....we had buffet dinner and singing session keke.

As for me...keke I can't resist oysters...I think I ate about...er 3-4 plates of fresh oysters...very delicious...not for those weak stomach la...some people cannot take fresh oysters. :P And I know I'm not one of those people la...kaka..more for me to EAT!

After a long run of stressful working hours, I finally went for a vacation!! Where to? Krabi, Thailand for 4 days 3 nights. I really need a time off! Been so freaking stress up lately!
As usual the Kiasu gang met up and went for the short trip. We stayed at Ben's House hotel/ guesthouse which located in Aonang area. Price are pretty reasonable as this is the Low Season in Krabi. For a 3 nights stay I only need to pay 1000baht= rm100...pretty cheap leh. Cheap also due to the location, Ben's House is not in the smack of the Aonang street..in order to go to the street , I think you need to take about 15-20mins walk!! Far for me la...so for past 2 days we had been renting motorbike to town..keke. Price for renting the motorbike for 24hour will be 150baht, but we only pay 100baht coz' we didn't rent it for 24hours.

On the first day, the Kiasu gang went to tour around in Aonang street and managed to see the sunset at the Aonang beach.
We went to Bernie's Place for a buffet dinner, price 250baht per head. Food was so-so, won't recommend anyone to go there to eat...coz not worth the price guys! I think it's better to try some small stall of local food which is cheaper and also hopefully more delicious? If you are in a tight budget la.
After our dinner, we went to search for a day tour for the next day. Apparently, if you want to do island tour you can booked it one day in advance and the agent will pick you up from your hotel.
We took a day tour to Phi Phi Islands for the price 800baht / head inclusive of lunch and snorkel gears.
The program tour lasted from 9am-4pm...pretty cool. Phi Phi Islands Tour consists of Monkey Bay, Maya Bay, Lohsamah Bay, Pi Leh Bay, phi phi Don, Hin Phae, Banboo Island, Viking cave, Hing Klarng...so what I did was..snorkel and island hopping.
Beautiful Beach..with sexy bikini gals? Oh by the way, there were plenty of bikini gals on the beach but I did not upload to my blog. It's for my eyes to see only kakakaka..if anyone of you want to see those bikini gals then you should visit Krabi!
In the evening we went to Aonang street again to look for dinner. This time Ms Yvonne wanted to eat western food!! She was craving for pasta or pizza..not so sure. Anyway we went to a western restaurant and ordered Hawaiian pizza + Pasta. Pizza price was 150baht , OK la to feed 3 mouth.

After the dinner, we went to 7'Eleven to shop for...special drinks + junkies for the nite in the hotel. But before we party the nite away, we went for a body massage!
I took the Milk body massage for an hour cost me 300baht. Erm the massage was ok la..won't say it's the best thou. This massage center is like 5min walk from the place we stay. Super near!
So after the massage we head back to our room and began to start our nite party. This is what we bought...plenty of Junkies and also plenty of alcohol drinks..btw this is like our usual/ routine to party everynite when we visit Thailand! After all we don't get drunk easily one..after much practice of drinking hahaha!

The next day, we had booked a tour to Hong Island (Kayaking and Snorkeling) price..1100baht per head. The weather were extremly nice..just perfect for kayaking. So off we went to Kayak for about erm 1 hour. Really tired but I love the exercise...unlike Mr President. I guess he had more complication in kayaking, heard it was his 1st time?
After kayak we went for snorkeling Lading Island, you can see beautiful coral reef there. Oh ya all the one day tour is inclusive of buffet lunch.
Again our day tour end at 4pm, and off we rent motorbikes to go to Krabi Town. It's about 15min ride from Aonang to Krabi town..so pretty near la but the only thing is the road is pretty lonely and some area no street light.
Reached Krabi town market in the evening, we went to hunt for local food! Yummy...oh ya Krabi is a muslim area so abit hard to look for PORK lor.

After we had tried so many of food, its time to head back to Aonang again...after all I feel Aonang is more a tourist friendly place compare to Krabi Town. I did my last min shopping to buy gifts for friends on that nite. After getting all funny gifts, we found a hidden corner which it tooks us to an entire different place. This alley consists of all BARS, Pubs area...so hidden man.
Mr President and member was eyeing on the free pool table and as for me...I'm eyeing on the free internet service hahaha.. So we went into Smile Bar which provide free pool table+ free internet service. Each of us ordered a glass of Vodka mix soda price 80baht. OK la...just to get the feel of a bar/pub area. But I must say, I'm not very keen of bar area...I think I rather spend some beauty sleep + vodka in my own room kaka well guess I'm "old biscuit".

After Mr P and member had enuf fun with the pool table and I had enuf of my internet, we head off to look for supper. Actually member said very hungry wor. So we found a restaurant which was still open thou it's already 12mid nite. Member ordered tomyam soup + rice for her supper and for me...well I just too full.

The next day, we had a very satisfying breakfast since past few days we been eating bun or cakes for breakfast.

After our breakfast, we went for another massage since we had some time to spare before we head off to the airport. This time, I did shoulder and neck massage coz's past few days I didn't get enough sleep. The ambience of this spa area is pretty cool better than the first one we went to. Price are roughly the same, pretty reasonable.
Oh well, last Friday I got 2 free tickets for the movie : 17Again..erm how did I get it free? Thanks to me buying so many beauty products ..pai seh... anyway since it's free sure go and watch la rite. It's at Cineleisure@ The Curve area, since the movie starts at 9.30pm. Yvonne and I went to grab for dinner.
Both of us can't really decide what to eat since there are varsities of food to chose from. In the end..we went into Marche and order caramel+fruit crepes and thin crust hawaiian pizza.

After our dinner, I was craving for chocolates..probably last week been a stressful week for me. I need chocolate to destress! So I suggested to go for dessert keke at Secret Recipe, I was aiming for their chocolate cake...I mean RICH, MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE.
I ordered the Walnut brownie and Yvonne took the Chocolate moist cake. Both cakes really satisfied me...I actually helped Yvonne to finished up her cake too kekeke...so happy less stress after eating the chocolate cake/ brownie!
It's Sunday...and I'm really lack of sleep...coz..hmm Saturday "hutang tidur" then Sunday also "hutang tidur" wonder what I had been up to hor...
My sister and mum plan to go shopping at The Curve today...but I was so TIRED but due to Kiasu-nism I tag along too...don't want to missed out the FUN rite. Furthermore this is shopping leh, which many gals favorite pass time :)
After long hours of shopping, I managed to grab some nice clothes and shoes! Love shoes alot...actually high heels. By the way, there are 50%-70% sales on clothing...of coz' I buy la rite.
So back to food topic, my sister suggested to try out at Italiannies which is located at The Curve. Since most of the gang have not try Italiannies food..except for me ( I had tried out once many many moons ago) we went to our food destination.

We ordered Pepperoni Pizza (RM30.90), Shrimp Fra Diabolo (RM32.90) and refillable Ice Lemon Tea (RM5.80).
While waiting for our food to arrive, we had a serving of Tuscan Bread & French Loaf which were fresh from the oven. Served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil on the side for us to dip the bread into, the Tuscan Bread was excellent while the French Loaf fared well too. The good thing about the bread is...hehe you can asked them to top up more bread & loaf for FOC. I guess this is the extra miles which Italiannies provide to their customers.

Apparently Shrimp Fra Diabolo is a new item on the menu, we gave it a tried. What's this fancy name rite? Oh well actually it's shrimp sauteed with asparagus, baby spinach, pine nuts and pompadour sauce, tossed with fettuccine pasta and topped with cream cheese. This was a huge bowl of rich tasty pasta and all of us enjoyed this dish as the combination of rich sauce was really tasty.
Overall food was yummy and I was so full! And one more thing...THANK YOU for the lovely meal Wen Jie :)
Have you ever scarified your sleeping time just to travel all the way for food? Well I did :) Sound crazy but I need to keep up to my "Queen of Food" reputation ...so gotta tried out delicious food no matter how far or how early I need to get up to hunt for food...hmm sound like I am super "wai sek"..wait a minute... I am wai sek! That's the reason why I had gain a few kilos recently...or past few weeks? months? What say you?
Anyway here is the story, woke up at 6am just to travel down to Puchong to meet up with Lau and my sis to cari-cari makan for breakfast. Destination...AMPANG...I never know that the distance from Puchong to Ampang is damn FAR!...futhermore on the way to Puchong I somehow lost my way to Lau's house...but of coz' finally managed to find his house la.
Thou I travel early to Puchong...I only able to get my breakfast at 9am leh..so hungry by then..reasons....lost my way in Puchong...distance between Puchong-Ampang is one of the main factor too. But was contented when I get to fill up my stomach with yong tau fu.

It's Mother's Day! Happy Mother's Day....to every mother out there.
So what happened was Yvonne and I did a very last minute shopping to hunt for Mother's Day gift...initially I was thinking of getting mum a box of chocolates...erm which I think I will be the culprit to finished up the chocolates since I love C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E-S so...much. So that plan was totally OUT.
We really had no idea what to get for mum...or should we celebrate it like every year we did...get her a cake and a Carnation flower? Don't ask me why Carnation flower..but Mother's day and Carnation have had an association for a very long time. This was what I found from the internet about Carnation flower...."Carnation flowers have become symbolic of mother's love and also Mothers Day." Oh by the way, usually if you get a cake during mother's day...the flower is FOC given by the cake shop..complimentary gift...haha.
So in the end...I got this crazy idea to change the whole cake celebration thingy and bought her a watch! It's a gift from Yvonne and I to mummy.....oh I almost forgot, both of us also bought mum a jewelery box cum make up box...which ever she wants to use it for.
Yesterday, my sister, Wen Jia and I went to Berjaya Time Square for shopping...and after a long walk we went to search for food..this consider lunch + dinner I think. Initially I was thinking of having Old Town White Coffee Cafe...so call my usual spot to drink and eat. But this time, Yvonne said she want to try something new.
She picked the Gasoline Cafe...it's just right opposite the Old Town White Coffee Cafe. I had pass by this cafe many times but never had the urge to go in and try out..main reason, it looks very dark I mean the ambience and this cafe sound like more for the young teenagers hang out. Afraid I might feel out of space...after all I am not 18 or 22 years old kekeke...or am I?
The seating place in Gasoline cafe was kinda cool...they created the whole ambience like the flintstone cartoon...well almost alike la. Each seating area is divided by cloth..pretty nice for the youngsters more cozy feeling.
